DAVAO CITY, Philippines — The Iranun Development Council (IDC) successfully concluded a two-day Capacity Sharing Training on Information Management, Data Processing, and Analysis on November 26–27, 2025, aimed at strengthening the technical competencies of its Alliance Management Office (AMO) personnel.

The training brought together participants from the IDC-AMO, including Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators (MPDCs) and Technical Working Group (TWG) members from the member municipalities of Barira, Buldon, Matanog, and Parang.

Through a series of hands-on workshops and group exercises, participants were trained in data collection, cleaning, organization, and basic analysis. The sessions emphasized the importance of accurate and well-managed data in improving coordination, reporting systems, and evidence-based decision-making across the IDC alliance.

Organizers said the activity is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the institutional and technical capacity of the IDC, particularly in supporting more efficient and data-driven governance among member local government units. The training was organized by the Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG), with funding support from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID Philippines), as part of sustained initiatives to enhance the operational capacity of the IDC alliance.
