The Iranun Development Council (IDC) continues to strengthen its institutional and technical capacities as a platform for inter-LGU cooperation and shared development among the Iranun municipalities.

On October 22-23, the IDCโ€™s Alliance Management Office (AMO) team participated in a two-day Project Management and Organizational Development Training held in Davao City. The training aimed to equip the IDC AMO team with the knowledge, tools, and systems necessary to effectively plan, implement, and monitor joint development programs, and to ensure accountability and efficiency as a unified inter-LGU alliance.

The Alliance Management Office (AMO) serves as the implementing and coordinating body of the IDC. It is composed of key personnel responsible for overseeing daily operations, facilitating inter-LGU collaboration, and supporting the implementation of Council initiatives. The AMO includes the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Administrative Staff, LGU Focal Persons such as MPDCs, and members of the Technical Working Group (TWG), which cover areas including, but not limited to Oil Refinery, Aqua-Marine and Fish Production, Agriculture, and Livestock Production.

This activity marks the beginning of a series of capacity-building programs for the IDC AMO team, to be delivered by the Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) with support from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID Philippines), as they move toward becoming a fully functional and dynamic alliance management office committed to advancing the shared goals of the Iranun municipalities.
